| Application Scrutiny: Applications will be scrutinized to check fulfillment of eligibility conditions. Suitable candidates will be shortlisted for further selection. Sports Achievement Assessment: Selection will be based on assessment of candidates’ sports/games achievements, consistency of sporting performance, age, and educational qualifications as on the prescribed date. Order of Preference for Sports Achievements: 1. International Competition representation with clearance of Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. 2. State/UT representation in Senior or Junior National Championships (medals/positions up to 3rd place). 3. University representation in Inter-University competitions or Khelo India University Games (medals/positions up to 3rd place). 4. State/UT representation in Khelo India Youth Games/Winter Games/Para Games (medals/positions up to 3rd place). 5. State Schools representation in National sports/games for Schools by All-India School Games Federation (medals/positions up to 3rd place). 6. State/UT/University/State Schools representation at above levels without winning a medal. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce all original documents in support of eligibility conditions at the time of document verification. Merit List: Provisional merit list will be prepared based on information provided in the online application portal only. Doping Test: Candidates must be clear in all Doping tests conducted by WADA/NADA or other relevant authorities. Final Appointment: Shortlisting for selection does not confer any right to appointment unless the Department is satisfied after verification of all documents and eligibility criteria. | |||||||||
