| A Candidate should not be less than 21 years as on 01/01/2026 and not more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2026. The upper age limit is relaxable for the candidates of reserved categories as per existing provision. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBС/МОВС, 10 years for PwBD and 2 years for Ex-serviceman candidates. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the HSLC/Class X Pass Certificate or HSLC/Class X Admit Card issued by a recognized Board/Council where Age/Date of Birth is clearly reflected. No other documents shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose. | |||||||||

| For direct recruitment to the cadre of Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator a candidate must have1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any subject having studied at least a paper of Statistics/Economics/ Mathematics/ Social Science/ Sociology/ Psychology at Graduate level OR, Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard. II. Knowledge of English and Local Language: Candidates must have both English and any one of the Local Languages (Assamese, Bengali, Bodo) as subjects during HSLC. III. Knowledge of Computer along with comfort in Keying data through handheld device: Candidates must qualify and upload Computer Course Certificate of minimum 6 (six) months duration from a Government recognized Institute. | |||||||||
