| Selection Procedure | |||||||||
| GATE-2025 Marks Only: The selection process consists solely of marks obtained (out of 100) in the corresponding paper of GATE-2025. Only GATE-2025 marks are valid; GATE marks of 2024 or prior are not valid. Shortlisting for Document Verification (DV): Candidates will be shortlisted for DV on the basis of GATE-2025 marks in the order of merit in the ratio of 1:5 or more to the number of vacancies category-wise in each discipline. In case of a tie (equal marks), all tied candidates will be called for DV irrespective of the ratio. Tie-Breaking: If two or more candidates secure equal marks in the final merit list, merit will be determined by date of birth (senior in age placed first). Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be called for DV. Date, time, and venue will be notified on the DVC website only. No hard copy call letters will be sent by post. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Before joining, selected candidates must undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination by the DVC Medical Board. The Board’s decision is final and binding. No relaxation in health standards is allowed. DVC reserves the right to increase or decrease the shortlisting ratio if required. Merely qualifying GATE-2025 does not vest any right to be called for DV. | |||||||||
