Age Limit
The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2026. The upper age limit is relaxable as per rule.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam. As a domicile proof of the candidate, he/she must upload a copy of the valid Permanent Resident Certificate issued in Assam for educational purpose/Employment Exchange Registration Certificate will be treated as proof of residency.

Recognised / AICTE approved Polytechnic /Institution and the course duration should be minimum 3 years after H.S.L.C or equivalent or 2 years (Base) + 2 years (Diploma) course from Govt./Govt. Recognised/ AICTE approved institution. Minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination of Diploma course in Engineering for the said post is required. In case of SC & ST candidates, minimum 50% marks is must in the qualifying examination of full time Diploma Course.
