| Online applications are invited from unmarried Male candidates (who fulfil eligibility conditions as laid down by the Government of India) for Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. The eligibility criteria and broad terms and conditions are laid down herein below. The distribution of trade wise vacancies would be decided based on service requirement. | |||||||||
| Educational Qualification | |||||||||
| Educational Qualifications. Candidates must have passed Matriculation Examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India and completed three years diploma course from All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate in any of the following diploma courses:- 2.1 Engineering – Marine Engineering & Systems, Mechanical, Production/ Automobile, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Repair and Maintenance, Power Plant Engineering, Industrial/Production, Maintenance, Machine, Manufacturing/ Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, Metallurgy, Instrumentation, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering. 2.2 Electrical – Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics Instrumentation and Control Engineering. | |||||||||

| Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Dec 2004 – 31 May 2009 (Both dates inclusive). Agniveer (Apprentice) 02/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 – 31 Oct 2009 (Both dates inclusive). | |||||||||
| Pay and Allowances | |||||||||
| Pay, Allowances and Allied Benefits. Agniveers will be paid a package of ₹30,000 per month with a fixed yearly increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowances will be paid. | |||||||||
| Seva Nidhi: Agniveers shall be given a one-time Seva Nidhi package comprising their monthly contribution along with matching contribution by the Government on completion of their engagement period, as indicated below:- | |||||||||

| Stage-I INET 2/2026 exam will be conducted in Aug 26 with SSC as Exam Partner. Based on the marks obtained in Stage I, candidates will be shortlisted for Stage II of Agniveer (Apprentice) 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches separately. The tentative timeline for recruitment is as follows: – | |||||||||

| STAGE – I (INET – INDIAN NAVY ENTRANCE TEST) | |||||||||
| Separate exams will be conducted for Electrical and Engineering entries. 1 The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 mark each. 2 The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice). 3 The question paper will comprise four sections i.e. English & General Awareness, Science, Mathematics and Diploma (Trade Specific). 4 Duration of examination will be one hour. 5 The candidates are required to pass in all sections as well as in aggregate. The Indian Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate. 6 Penalty for Wrong Answer. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers given by a candidate. There are four options for the answer to every question with only one correct option. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (0.25) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty. 7 Centre Allocation for INET (online examination) will be at the discretion of the Indian Navy. 8 The Indian Navy reserves the right to conduct shortlisting of the candidates based on marks obtained in qualifying examination (Diploma Certificate) in case of extraneous circumstances resulting in INET examination not be conducted and/ or as per service requirement. | |||||||||
