| Common Written Examination (Stage I): 100 MCQs, 100 Marks, 120 Minutes covering Odia Language, English Language, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning, and Basic Computer Literacy. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer applies. Special Written Examination (Stage I – Additional for specific posts):For Constable (Communication): 100 MCQs, 300 Marks, 120 Minutes covering Physics and Computer Science (+2 Science Standard). Negative marking of 0.75 marks per wrong answer. For Driver PMT & Firefighting Driver: 50 MCQs, 50 Marks, 60 Minutes covering Basic Knowledge of Vehicle & Maintenance and Traffic Signal, Road Safety & Rules. Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. Physical Measurement (PM) Test (Stage II – Qualifying Only): Approximately 7 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) will be called based on Written Examination performance. Candidates must meet minimum standards for Height, Weight, and Chest measurements. Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Stage II – Qualifying Only): Events include Running (1.6 km), Long Jump, Shot Put, Swimming (for Firefighter & Firefighting Driver only), Rope Climbing (for Firefighter only), and Load Carrying (for Firefighter only). Ex-Agniveers are exempted from PET. Driving Test (Stage II – for applicable posts): Practical driving test for candidates applying for Constable (Civil), Constable OISF, Driver PMT, and Firefighting Driver who possess a valid LMV or HMV Driving License. Bonus marks awarded: 3 marks for LMV and 5 marks for HMV DL. Medical Examination (Stage III): Conducted by a District Medical Board for candidates who successfully complete PM and PET. Candidates must be free from specified physical conditions and deformities. Document/Certificate Verification (Stage IV): Verification of original certificates and documents by the Commission or authorized authority. Final Merit List: Prepared based on total marks in Written Examination + NCC Bonus Marks (if applicable) + Driving Marks (if applicable). Tie-breaking criteria: older age > fewer negative marks > higher special paper marks > Commission’s discretion. | |||||||||
