| Selection Procedure | |||||||||
| Written Test: A Written Test of 100 marks (MCQ type in OMR/CBRE Mode) consisting of one paper with the following sections: Questions on subjects as per syllabus (Annexure-II): 60 Questions – 60 Marks Questions based on practical skills: 25 Questions – 25 Marks Arithmetic (High School Certificate Standard): 10 Questions – 10 Marks English (High School Certificate Standard): 5 Questions – 5 Marks Total: 100 Questions – 100 Marks | Duration: 2 Hours Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer. No penalty for unattempted questions. Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30% for ST/SC/PwDs/Ex-Servicemen/Sportsperson; 35% for all other candidates. Tie-Breaking Criteria: (1) Lesser Wrong Attempts; (2) Higher % in Diploma GNM/B.Sc. Nursing; (3) Age Seniority (older ranked higher); (4) Higher marks in +2 or equivalent; (5) Commission’s discretion. Document Verification (DV): Candidates shortlisted from the Provisional Master Merit List (not less than 1.25 times the number of vacancies, category-wise) shall be called for Document Verification. Provisional Select List: Drawn from the screening list after Document Verification, equal to the number of vacancies advertised category-wise, based on merit, availability, and district preference. | |||||||||
