| 1. Online Written Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT):Duration: 2 Hours General Knowledge: 50 Objective questions (50 marks) English Composition: 20 Objective questions (20 marks) + Subjective (30 marks) [Essay 10 marks, Letter 5 marks, Precis 5 marks, Translation Punjabi to English 10 marks] Total: 100 marks Qualifying Marks: 33% in each subject and 40% aggregate Negative Marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer in objective section English Composition (Subjective) checked only for candidates scoring 33%+ in General Knowledge Normalization of marks applied if exam held in multiple shifts 2. Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) – Qualifying Nature Only:Part-I: Spreadsheet Test (10 marks, 10 minutes) – Qualifying marks: 40% (4 or more marks) Part-II: Computer Typing Test in English at 30 W.P.M. (checked only if Part-I qualified) Marks of CPT not counted in final merit 3. Checking of Original Testimonials/Interaction: Candidates qualifying both CBT and CPT will be called for document verification. 4. Final Merit List: Prepared strictly on the basis of marks in Written Examination (CBT).
