Written Examination (Single Stage): OMR-based objective type examination consisting of 200 questions for 300 marks, divided into:Part A: Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test – 100 questions, 150 marks (SSLC Standard); Minimum qualifying marks: 60 marks (40%) Part B: General Studies – 75 questions, 150 marks Part C: Aptitude and Mental Ability – 25 questions Duration: 3 hours 2. Onscreen Certificate Verification: Candidates shortlisted based on minimum qualifying marks and rule of reservation. Ratio: 1:3 (General) / 1:2 (Reserved) for most posts; 1:6 for Forest Guard with Driving Licence and Forest Watcher. 3. Physical Standards Test and Endurance Test (Forest Posts only): Candidates for Forest Guard with Driving Licence and Forest Watcher admitted in 1:3 ratio after onscreen verification. Endurance Test: Walk of 25 km (Male) / 16 km (Female/Third Gender) to be completed in 4 hours. Conducted at Chennai only. 4. Physical Certificate Verification and Counselling: Based on written examination marks and rule of reservation. Ratios vary by post category. 5.
