| Stage 1 – Preliminary Examination (Combined for Group-A and Group-B): MCQ type, 150 questions, 150 marks, 120 minutes duration. Subjects: English (15), Gujarati (15), General Awareness & Current Affairs (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), Reasoning (60). Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer. Divyang candidates get extra 20 minutes per hour. Preliminary exam is only a screening test; marks will NOT be counted in final merit. 7 times the category-wise vacancies will be shortlisted for Main Examination separately for Group-A and Group-B. Stage 2 – Main Examination: Group-A (Descriptive): Paper-I: Gujarati Language Skill (100 marks, 3 hrs); Paper-II: English Language Skill (100 marks, 3 hrs); Paper-III: General Studies (150 marks, 3 hrs). Total: 350 marks. Group-B (MCQ): 200 marks, 120 minutes. Topics include Indian State System & Constitution, Indian Economy, Public Administration, Ethics, Government Schemes, Current Affairs, History & Geography of Gujarat, Gujarati & English, Science & IT. Minimum Qualifying Standard: 40% marks in each stage and each paper (no relaxation for any category). Final Merit List: Prepared based on Main Examination marks. Bonus marks of 5% added for Widow candidates and eligible Sports persons. No waiting list will be prepared. | |||||||||
